I started going to school this year, and in my class i met this quiet animal crossing girl. She likes to draw and play games on her switch, we get along really well and everyday i sit next to her.
We are starting to get really close, I have developed a crush on her, I adore her and think she is the cutest and most kindhearted funny girl. But 5 months ago i got out of a nearly 4 year long relationship and i want to be single for a long time and focus on myself. At the same time i just want to hug her and hold her hand and do all the romantic things, but i am afraid of leading her on and hurting her feelings.
I love being friends with her, but should i just keep being friends and ignore my feelings? I feel like it doesnt make sense to get in a relationship with her, at the same time its all i wanna do

TL:DR
Met cute girl in school that i cant stop thinking about, but i am not ready for a relationship

  1. Two things I think you should consider:

    * What aspects of being single are you hoping to experience? What aspects of working on yourself are you hoping to accomplish? If you dig deeper into these concepts and figure out what that means, you can decide for yourself whether your plans and goals are mutually exclusive with a relationship with this girl.

    * Likewise, what feelings and experiences are you hoping to get from a relationship with this girl? And similarly, are there ways that you can still get those from a platonic relationship with her?
