For starters, I fucking *love* giving head – I would would eat my girlfriend’s pussy three meals a day, seven days a week, if I could. She loves when I do it, tells (and shows) me that I give really good head. The problem is, she has very sensitive skin, and even when I’m clean shaven and my face is as smooth as I’ve ever been able to get, just the tiniest hairs that grow in within hours of shaving are enough to cause chafing on her inner thighs. I’ve even tried shaving right before sex, and had the same result. Has anyone else here had this issue? If so, what would you recommend to combat this?

Let it grow out for a couple days and use conditioner on it in the shower. It’s a lot softer that way.

Are you shaving against the grain? If you shave against your hairs growth pattern with a sharp, fresh razor, that should pull the hair out of the follicle a little and let you cut just below the surface of the skin. But by the next day, you’ll already have stubble with sharp, itchy edges. You could also try conditioning your beard regularly to keep that hair soft.
But honestly, I’d try waxing* my face every now and then. Waxing pulls hair out at the root, rather than cutting the hairs at the surface of the skin. So right after a wax, and maybe a few days after there shouldn’t be any hair above the surface as it’s regrowing in the follicle.
Your hair is sharp because when you shave you create a sharp point on each hair. Then since they are short they are more rigid.
When you let your beard grow out the point gets dulled from just existing. Then you can condition it in the shower and use beard oil after.
Bushy beards don’t cause chaffing.
This is why I usually have a beard… I much prefer being clean shaven but my gf begs me to keep a beard and I think this is a part of the reason why (also I obviously want to avoid chafing for her if I can, definitely worth it). If you’re not opposed to growing it out, it may be a decent solution.
Beard softener
My husband was clean shaven when I met him. Soon thereafter, and for the following twenty years, he has maintained a 6 to 8 mm clipped beard.
Explain again why you have to be smooth shaved to give head?

Yeah honestly let it grow out a bit. I have a beard most of the time and it’s generally pretty soft. Stubble tends to be way rougher than actual beard hair.

Has she tried shaving too? I have gotten torn up by my own hairs before.
Or maybe both should shave or both should have hair. Try different combinations?
