Okay so here is my problem, im a fan of Hatsune Miku since 2016 and i always wanted to go to her concerts. Next year, Miku Expo 2024 is happening and im just scared to ask. Because its going to happen in North America and im living in Turkey. The tickets are expensive, and also the dollar price is expensive too. I asked my dad if he could buy me a miku figure. He said yes i can buy it and after that he actually bought it. But im really scared to ask, what should i do? In the past he always yelled at me maybe thats why. But how can i get trough of it?

It’s tough when your Dad always yells at you, I feel you man.
There’s a couple things here, 1) you can offer to do some extra chore to “earn” what you wish for, 2) you can wish for it for your birthday, 3) you can wait for a time he’s in a particularly good mood, but most importantly, 4) it’s probably good to calculate how much all this would cost and try to find out if it’s actually a feasible thing to ask from your parents.
Are you afraid to ask because of the reaction or the answer you will get? It seems like you are expecting a negative reaction from him, in that case; what is your goal here? Are you expecting him to say yes when you ask because that’s not fair. Or are you trying to be able to ask without feeling bad about it? If he says no you can try to compromise and deal with him. But if you’re just afraid to ask because he reacts negatively then you know what to expect from him, and you are reacting accordingly. You must also understand that not everyone reacts like this to something you ask. Your dad may have certain expectations around your requests and he may consider what you ask for outrageous.
