Im learning to stop putting on a front of trying to be perfect. Im trying to care less about what people think so I wont be scared to initiate. I know with my family and close friends I can be really fun, laidback and silly. In fact I used to be the class clown who did anything to make people laugh (until social anxiety). But Im scared that by trying to bring back this lively version of me, I’ll just be perceived as a weirdo and push people away even more.

What do I need to learn to balance this? Will learning how to read people/situations help?

  1. As long as you aren’t insulting anyone or putting people in danger-

You flirt with that line until it blushes. And you have friends who think it’s funny but pull you back if you go to far.

Finding friends who like to laugh with you instead of at you is the key

  2. Keep going, you’ll figure it out. Being yourself means doing/saying things you want to and not doing/saying things you don’t want to, you can trust your gut if something doesn’t feel right, but it’s also fine to push boundaries a little bit and make mistakes. Being considerate of others is #1, anything else is forgivable.
