  1. If you’re referring to Tim Hortons, they are pretty limited in the US. I don’t know that I’ve even seen one.

  2. Most non border states don’t even have them. Even then usually only near the border itself.

  3. I haven’t been in a couple years but when I went they did not they had a black plastic lid. Should also be said that the vast majority of states don’t have Tim’s. I’ve never seen one outside of Michigan but I bet at least one other state has them.

  4. A quick look at the user-submitted images on google maps for US locations shows that the lid with the maple leaf design is used for some drinks in some locations.

  5. Nope, my husband gets Tim’s at least once a day and it’s a dark brown lid that says “Tim Horton’s” with no giant maple leaf.

  6. So since everyone else is just saying we don’t have Tims (we do in border states), I’ll try to actually answer: yes they do use those, but not at every location or for every drink. I don’t go there enough to know the details of when and why they’re used. But in general yes they use those here too sometimes.

  7. Last time I got coffee at a Tim’s was a bit before Covid, but I don’t remember them using this lid.

  8. There somewhat common in Columbus, Ohio as they were at one point owned (or jointly owned) by Wendy’s (headquartered in Columbus). These lids look the same but I think ours are black not white.

  9. Yes they do in Ohio – well at least on their small hot drinks. Their small cold drinks have a maple leaf on the clear lid. For their larger drinks I don’t think so actually.

  10. Tim’s is a massive failure around me. There’s one way south of me but all the ones near me flame out in about a year.
