Who was that person that said they would be for you, and they actually showed up?

1. The person?

   Idk how it is for others, but pretty much everyone in my adult life who’s ever said that.

2. My mother, and one of my close guy friends who is like a brother to me. I’ve been through some shit, and these two have always shown up fully.

3. It’s the person who doesn’t say anything. They just show up.

4. My sister, after I unexpectedly landed in the hospital for a week and needed someone to take care of my cats (despite the fact that she lived an hour away)

5. My wife and so many friends. When my brother died I learned who my true friends are.

6. What kind of question is this? No one, obviously. Not a single person who has ever said they’ll be there for someone else has ever followed through with it. Words are cheap, don’t listen to people who promise shite.
