So my lady friend (41f) and I (42m) have been off and on for nearly 2 years. We have recently reconnected and are back on again, and have decided to go on our first proper date. I’m looking for some interesting ideas if you’ve got any.
We’ve been out to gigs, comedy shows, etc together over the times we’ve been together. We’ve hung out at home. We’ve been intimate. It isn’t about getting to know one another or trying not to have an uncomfortable first date like normal. We’re past all that. We’ve just never officially said “we’re dating, and this is a date” until now, so I’d like it to be a bit different and special if you get me.
She loves outdoor activities (although we live in the NW of England, so the weather isn’t too great now), extreme metal, kink, arts & crafts, tattoos, craft beer all that kind of stuff. She’s basically a tomboy goth. Our interests are fairly well aligned for the most part. No dinner and movie kinda things.
Money’s tight, so if it didn’t cost the world, that would be cool, but I don’t mind spending a bit. Anybody got any interesting, left-field ideas for things to do round these parts at this time of year?
