**TLDR – Would strangers actually be interested in reading about my dating life?**
I (31F) recently called off my engagement and ended a 7-year relationship. I re-entered the dating scene a few months ago and my friends have been loving stories about my dating life. I even have one friend who requests weekly recaps, which I provide via TV-episode style texts that Siri reads to him while he’s driving to work. They’ve been encouraging me to start a blog and since I enjoy storytelling I’m thinking it might be a fun idea.
I never expected to be dating again and it’s a completely different experience now than it was when I was last on the scene both because dating itself has changed and because I have changed (both as a person and with my approach to dating).
I’m thinking I’d want the blog to focus on my dating life but also discuss my other relationships (friends, family, myself), incorporating both the fun recap-style storytelling I use for my one friend and also more thoughtful reflections on what I’m learning about myself and society through this journey. I’ve also been told by many women that they feel inspired by my approach to dating so I’m thinking it could additionally serve as dating advice. I know my younger self could have learned a lot from my current self.
I guess I’m wondering
1) Would strangers actually be interested in reading an anonymous dating blog about my life?
2) If so, what would be the best platform to host the blog?
