I (M23) and girl (F19) have been inseparable since we started dating two months ago. She was in my younger brother’s circle of friends. I always kinda knew her from that. We ran into each other recently. It was a long time since I saw her last. It was instant mutual attraction this time.
What’s the problem? Well, someone told me that she had sex with my brother before. I never asked about her past, and she didn’t offer that little detail. Neither did he. So I asked her. She said it happened once and it was “stupid”. He pushed her farther than she expected to go. Not that it was against her will or anything like that. I’m not worried it will happen again. I believe it won’t. It was a high school thing.
But so many people know the situation. The gossip. The awkwardness. Me wondering if they would have ever told me themselves. But she was my soulmate until this was revealed.
Should I stay with her, because the past is the past? Or should I leave her, because the past cannot be changed and it will always be something in the back of our minds?
