Love fucks your brain up like a drug. So, you can’t trust your decision making sometimes.
You only give it to enjoy it and it owes you nothing … to have a life of love you must always give it unconditionally and never give it to expect anything from it in return. You have to be a very strong person to have a love that is truly genuine and knows no bounds
Love is a skill that needs to be practiced and nurtured, otherwise it will suffer over time.
Love isn’t enough for a great relationship
You also need to pick the correct person. Loving a person that doesn’t treat you wonderful is really hard. But you can walk away and fall in love again with someone better.
The only time I ever felt it was with a girl when I was young. Our first date was amazing and afterwards we both had butterflies and communicated it freely without apprehension. It is liberating to not have to hold back. The next two dates were terrible and I thought we broke up but then I got back from vacation and she had literally moved next door. A mutual friend brought us back together and that was it.
She died of kidney cancer at 22 a decade and a half ago now and I was the last man she ever loved. That is all I know of love.
