to start, I (23f) have been into fandom my whole life and the most recent fandom and longest I have been in this 8 years and I have met my best friend (26f) through the fandom. Well for starters we both used to ship when we met 4 years ago but that changed for me in the recent years and I’m not so seriously into it any more yea i do ship for funsies but nothing else, but my friend on the other hand is a serial shipper of AB and would actually disregard any other ships (mopstly BC) she is a hardcore redacted shipper like to the point she really really thinks they are in relationship for reals and, in short delulu kind (here AB and BC means A- one member, B- second member, C- third member). Now, I ship for funsies for the fics for the imagination sake and nothing more I really don’t care who they date and who they don’t, be it a member or not, but she told me once if the two person she ships ends up dating anyone else she cant look at them anymore. So yeah.Now I was out all the day and like really out and in sand so just know I’m like really tired and in for no bullshit and she texted some incoherent texts about ship I asked her so many times what what what but she kept repeating AB travel vlog I was omg did they release something I went yt and there was only a talk show with member B as latest news so I was confused af and I asked her what she said she’ll call at night I was okay so we were talking @ 9.45pm, I just came back home and took a shower and I was on call with her and she ranting how happy she is and explained how AB filmed something like a travel vlog and it’ll be out this year I was like ohhh nice and she stopped and went like why aren’t you excited I was bro I am just tired RN and she said okay and went on to ranting happily about AB and I was fine I let empty her AB bladder because honestly everyone needs a little empty bladder and we haven’t talked since long so I was humming and listening to her and then she started going to the different route of the picture of photobooth pic that A posted, so in that picture it was A, B, C, and D(another member from the same group) and a whole strip was BC and she went on and on about how this is the fastest AB karma she has seen and I was what, what karma why karma and she went off on about how all the BC shippers are singing how boyfriend pics those are and I was like what’s so wrong about it and she was like I don’t mind BC as long they are brothers but if people start calling them boyfriend and she made a yucking sound which pissed me off so I told her how that’s okay for others to ship others yk I was once a BC shipper too infact I started shipping with BC and told her that man why you gotta call it AB karma as if you are pitting BC against AB like they are real people with real lives and she stopped and started going on about how I’m implying she is acting like some anti or something and then I asked her did you forget D was also there in the pic ? And she went on about something which honestly ik it’s rude but I put phone down without loudspeaker and didn’t hear a thing she said, in the end she said and I quote ” you ship but I support , you’re temporary but I’m permanent” well idk kinda ticked me off and I just said bye and cut the call lol
So yeah thats what happened and then we didnt talk for a few days like 7 days and then i texted and apologised to her for acting the way i did on call that i know i was being rude and honestly she is (was?) a really good friend of mine i tried texting her but she didnt reply to me after that so idk what to do now and ik no amount of apologising is not gonna do anything and the worst part is cant meet her we live in different states now.
So yeah lol i feel like i lost so much and im kinda crying lol, sorry my english sucks i just wanted to let it out cause i cant possibly say this in real life and not sound like a crazy b.
