Hey all,

I am European and I’ve been to the US many times, so I’ve experienced most things, especially food, since I love food. However, one thing I’ve never experienced and that absolutely fascinates me, is Buc-ee’s. I am going tonight for the first and only time, to Buc-ee’s in Daytona Beach, so I wanna make the most of it.

I read and watched videos so I’ve got a bit of an idea of what there is.

Recommendations both for hot food to eat when I’m here, as well as snacks to take back to the hotel, and maybe even back on the air plane that will last a long time.

  1. I heard of Bucees for the first time this year. So fascinating. This will be interesting to read the recommendations.

  2. Stopped there last week for the first time and got the Chamoy peach rings. Had to go back to get more. Their 7 pot primo hot sauce is pretty damn good too.

  3. I was at that very Buc-ee’s last month. I recommend their pralines. If you haven’t had American-style pralines, they’re rich and delicious (and very sweet).

  4. Corn dog with mustard, sausage, cheese and ritz crackers, beaver nuggets, one of the fancy puddings they have

  5. I’m a bbq snob. I grew up in one of the great bbq areas of the country. Get a brisket sandwich. It’s as good as you’d get in Texas. Pralines for dessert and a flavored beaver nugget to take home. Oh, and some beef jerky to go.

  6. get whatever snacks and food folks are recommending, but also get a coffee mug to take home. it’ll remind you of the trip for a long time.

  7. A brisket sandwich, beaver nuggets, and jerky. Those chunk chocolates they sell are good, too.

While you’re at it, pick up a tee-shirt, a plush, a tote bag and a travel mug.
