Last week, I volunteered at a film festival and met a girl in the same department. We had a nice chat, and by the end of the festival, it seemed like there was a connection.
She gave me her Instagram, mentioning she’s studying in a city 500 km away. I was disappointed not to have the chance to mess things up myself. This week, I sent her two funny reels related to our festival talks, and she responded positively.
I want to make myself stand out and avoid getting ghosted. Someone suggested me to call her, at first I said that this is too intrusive and nobody does this anymore. And I got replied with my own words: “Didn’t you want to stand out?”, and I have decided to call her.
Now, my question is, should I use my mobile number or WhatsApp? We were in the same WhatsApp group during the festival. What would you do?

not a good sign this is what you worried about.
If you get ghosted, it’s usually not your problem. And no need to make yourself stand out, if someone is interested in you then you already stand out.
