I absolutely love my car. I just bought it about 8 months ago or so. I get compliments every time I drive it around town. However, with gas prices on the rise, I actually don’t mind giving this car to my nephew so I can buy a new vehicle. I’m also getting to the point where I don’t really care so much about cars as much. Versus someone my nephew’s age, that just graduated college, would really love this car. He loves my car.
Meanwhile, my dad has a brand new car of 4 months. It’s a similar model to my mines, without the trim package like mines. My dad wants to buy a new car, so we’ll have to trade it in at a loss. But I felt like it would be the perfect fit to just gift my nephew my dad’s car, so I don’t lose that money. But my nephew doesn’t like my dad’s car as much. What are your guys thoughts? Should I gift my car to my nephew, or my dad’s car to my nephew, or just buy him something else?
