I just want to know if this is a normal thing? Whenever I’m studying I usually try to find a one person seat but sometimes I like to sit at a table to get more open air and every time i do that random people come up to me asking if they can sit with me, I always say “yeah you’re good:)”I don’t mind it but i also feel like that is so awkward 😭 I have never done that before and this is the first time it has happened to me.
Also I don’t really talk to them when they do that cause I’m assuming they just want to study in peace yk but I also feel odd not speaking 😭

They probably want to study there and ask to be polite just in case you may have ppl joining you, or in case you want to have the table for yourself
You’re definitely over thinking these interactions lol. They’re sitting there to study just like you.
