I see you guys really like animation 🙂
I remembered this Allegro (Polish ebay/amazon) one from 6 years ago, it’s really nice. Always makes me tear up a little.

I think there are way more examples but I don’t watch tv.
Edit; youtube recommended me some other Allegro Christmas ones. Damn, they are good. Or I’m a crybaby.

A long running one in Ireland is this one from Guinness, with shots of different parts of Ireland in the snow. It’s been played every year for as long as I can remember. And now living abroad it does make you feel very homesick watching it around this time of year.

There’s an older one for the ESB (our electricity utility company) which gets played sometimes but I’m not sure if it’s specifically a Christmas ad. But still plays on the very Irish theme of emigrants coming home for the holidays.

In Slovakia we have a really old one. Its about a dad and daughter going to the woods to get a christmas tree on christmas day. He tells her tha if she waits with eating untill dinner that she will see a golden pig. She asks dad that if the pig will have big crooked teeth. ” Sure honey if you wait” sayd dad. “I don’t need to wait I allready see it” sayd the girl. It ends with them being chased by a boar.
And this is just an ad for our cola.
The national railway company in Norway, NSB, has had one that it has showed nearly every christmas that is quite special. Describes the road home to christmas. Many people go home in christmas by railway in norway. While railway-tour being packed with references to stuff that are quite familiar for norwegians during christmas. Disney-stuff, Chistmas songs, Dinner for one etc.. Did you catch all the references ?

Yes, here in the UK a major department store called John Lewis has been running [Christmas adverts with a sentimental theme](https://planetradio.co.uk/hits-radio/entertainment/television/john-lewis-adverts-christmas/) since 2007.
Other retailers often use humour, such as Aldi with their character “Kevin the Carrot”.
