I feel like I can’t be myself around my friends. I have severe social anxiety and tried to make new friends but then the same thing has happens.

I’m with them atm because I have no one else and there is no point in leaving a group if you have no one else to go to. I’m just fed up of life man. Another reason why I can’t make friends is because I come across as desperate which I am. This means that I always have to initiate and I always end up feeling like I have to put in loads of effort to stay in touch when they don’t have to put in any. This is because I have considerablely less friends than they do.
