I have received a lot of feedback and researched how to keep up a conversation, and I have definitely improved. However, it is still hard to make new questions on the spot and sometimes to keep up a conversation. Do you have any direct advice that I can implement in a social situation or some strategies to practice my skills? Any advice or thoughts in general are appreciated.

  1. A conversation is also going w the flow. This means that one topic inspires another topic, which inspires yet another and so on and so on. Then sometimes you circle back to an earlier topic because something said made it relevant again.

Be mindful that you don’t keep asking question after question because that can make the conversation sound like an interview or at worst, an interrogation. Instead, try relating what the other person says to your experience. Give a little to get a little.
