I have a male friend who is around 4 years older than me. Outside workplace, we often walk together to our apartment building as we live in the same floor. He stayed quiet most of the time, but would answer happily when I tried to ask him light questions/bring in some topics. But after that, he stayed silent again. As he was often reserved, I tend to talk about myself so he did not have any obligation to talk about his personal life.
Do you have any suggestion on how to build friendship with quiet person? I’m usually the quiet one, but there are some people who even quieter than me.
