Anytime you have unprotected sex, you risk a pregnancy
What should you do? Use some form of birth control.
Is there a chance? You betcha.
If you don’t want to get pregnant, use birth control, that is my advice. Withdrawal method is not an effective form of birth control.
Yes girl, he can get you pregnant on pre cum alone
Why everytime want to use every method but the condom method
The pull out method is not reliable and most definitely can get you pregnant. Use birth control (still not a 100% guarantee, but at least it lessens the chances)
My withdrawal method surprise turns 26 this year.
Statistically, a PERFECT PULL OUT works 72% of the time.
A perfect pullout means that at no point during penetration does the dick leak any pre-cum, and when ejaculating, it is out of your vagina and away from the entire south part of your body and no ejaculate ends up near your vagina or any hands that will clean up the vagina afterwards.
That’s a lot of conditions.
The pullout method, on its own, is not great and is not recommended.
For context:
Morning after pill is 95% effective.
Condoms are 98% effective.
Implant is 99.98% effective.
A vasectomy is more than 99% effective. (Edit: corrected as there is still a chance.)
Is it better than nothing? Yes.
Is it as good as condoms or birth control? No.
Don’t be stupid. Use *real* protection.
I’ve been stupid before. Be smarter than I was.
You can absolutely get pregnant even when you use the withdrawal/pull-out method.
Here’s how it works:
Most women have a 28 day menstrual cycle. The first day of your period is day 1, the second is day 2, and so on. You usually finish bleeding around day 6.
**Around day 14 you ovulate** (your body releases an egg from your ovaries). It would be fair to think that since you ovulate on day 14, you should only have protected sex on days 14-16 or so—**but that would be a big mistake**.
Sperm can live in a woman’s body for up to 5 days. So you can get pregnant from unprotected sex anytime between days 9-16 or 17 to be safe.
In order for your body to release an egg, it requires a surge in luteinizing hormone (LH). You can buy LH surge strips online for very cheap. Women use them when they are trying to get pregnant to maximize their chances.
What you could do is track your period from day 1, then start dipping LH strips in your urine starting around day 11. Do this for a few cycles and you’ll know about what day you get your surge. From there, you can feel confident in when unprotected sex is safe. Probably anytime between days 17-28.
Pull out us probably the most unreliable method use real birth control just precum can get you pregnant
There’s a reason they also call it “pull and pray”
