Anyone ever regret not pursuing a crush years after and wonder what would have happened if you did?
When I was in grad school I had the biggest crush on someone in the school in another grad program. We had a mutual friend and so I only saw them a handful of times. I wanted to get to know her more but thought she was seeing someone else and then as our programs came to an end, she went back home early and that was it.
Fast forward to today, we live in different countries and our now both married with kids.
We still chat on social media and I often wonder what if. But at this point with where we are and the distance being across the world, nothing will likely ever happen.
Don’t make these mistakes on fear of rejection. I totally feel that we could have had something based on how we still communicate today but our lives went in different directions.
