Please don’t laugh at me for asking this but I wonder how it works after sex cuz sometimes when I give head to my bf he goes soft after cumming but for example yesterday after cumming from anal sex he was still hard.. So what does it mean when he is still hard?
Sorry if this is a really stupid question I just wanna know the science😆

  1. Your question is why does he stay hard after cumming right? That could be because of his refractory period not kicking in or being short. Just know that even if he’s hard after cumming it doesn’t mean he can continue having sex, despite staying hard some men feel super sensitive that they can’t proceed any further and that means they are in their refractory period and the reason for not losing their erection might be due to the delayed relaxation of the penile tissues. Did he continue to perform after cumming or was he just hard?

  2. One of the biggest mistakes women make is trying to make perfect sense out of erections. Yes there is some science there of course, but it’s not a perfect science like many women think (i.e this equals that). Things happen with our penises that we have no idea why and we have no control over.

Usually penises go down after ejaculation but sometimes they stay hard. That can be really convenient, and yes we will often brag when I happens or if it tends to happen to us a lot. But it’s not something that we can control or explain and anyone who says they can is just lying and taking the bragging too far. The same thing goes for any erection problems. I think naturally women want to connect the erection to what they are doing in a causal way, but that is dangerous and shouldn’t be done. Our penises do random things and it often has nothing to do with how turned on we are.

  3. As a man, I’d like to know as well.

In all seriousness, don’t attach too much meaning to an erection or lack thereof. We have very little control over it and can be affected by many external and internal factors that may have absolutely nothing to do with level of arousal.

It can definitely be a source of anxiety for men, so it’s best to just roll with whatever state he’s in and have fun!

  4. I will add that anal in particular is so tight that it can sometimes keep me hard much longer after I cum. Could also be how hot the idea of it is…

  5. Anatomically, the corpus cavernosum fills with blood during an erection. After ejaculation and/or orgasm the blood drains out. There is no specific time it can happen, mine is seconds to a minute or two after. There is a refractory period of when it will get erect again. This also varies from person to person and event to event.
So the short answer is that it’s different from person to person and different every time

  6. When I first met my Bf I never saw him NOT hard. Didn’t matter if I had just gotten there or if he had just cum. He was always hard.

When I first saw his flaccid dick I was soooo shocked by how small it was, I had just gotten so used to him having a full erection all the time
