They’re counting the 8 bank holidays in that 33. You’re getting 25 days plus bank holidays which is pretty typical.
Statutory holidays are 28 days per year. This means you are getting an additional week (5 days).
Depending on your industry this may include the bank holidays.
> I have to use some of the days for bank Holidays/ christmas etc….
Most likely this one, although in some jobs you don’t get the bank holidays off and just use extra day for another day off.
It’s a bit pants when you work a bank holiday and speak to people getting paid x4 when you just get a day off another day.
It means bank holidays are included in those 33 days.
Statutory days is the legal minimum they have to offer. O believe for full time it is 20 days AL plus public holidays.
Statutory days are the 8 bank holidays. So 25+8 = 33. That’s your lot.
