Hey everyone.

My wife and I want to do anal. This year we brought an adult advent calenda and there is anal relax gel included (hope this is traslated right). Since I have never heard of it, I looked it up quickly and I have two questions:

1. It numbs the anus. So it doesnt help relaxing the butt, but numbs it. So I stick it in, normaly it wouldnt fit (yet) and since she cant feel the pain, I damage her? Doesnt sound relaxing to me…

2. It says cant be used with a condom. Ok, get it. Maybe the two things dont go well with each other. But wouldnt this also numb my penis?

Dont worry, we tried many things. The mrs likes to get fingered in the ass during sex and enjoys getting her ass eaten. So we prepared for it 😉
None the less I would like to hear your opinions about it.

Thank you 🙂

  1. Never use numbing gel there. It will be hard to tell if there is damage on the inside until the numbing wears off and then it will be incredibly painful. Start with a small set of plugs and size up slowly. It’s the safest way

  2. With the amount of pleasurable nerve endings involved, why would anyone want to numb them?!🤔😄
And it could spread to the penis or vagina making for less than optimal sensations.
And yes, you’d be less likely to feel any warnings of mild injury, but with any proper anal fun, taking things slowly and communicating helps with that. Never had any issues myself during anal play with trusted partners, but def wouldn’t toy with numbing gels.

  3. Anal numbing gel included with an advent calendar? That’s a sentence I never expected to read.

Go online and learn about how get her rectum used to something bigger than your finger…..butt plugs and things like that. And there’s always tequila. But this weird shit you got sounds a little hokey to me.

I can only imagine what little things you’re gonna find behind those 24 little doors.

  4. Your concerns on point (1) are spot-on. Do not use any numbing gel on the anus. It is important to get feedback about pain or discomfort so that you avoid injury. It’s not safe. Yes, you can get seriously injured.

The only safe way to do any kind of anal penetration is to relax, use lots of lube, and go slowly/gently enough that there is little to no pain or discomfort (I always tell people no pain is the only fully safe level, if there is a little pain this is often associated with tearing and it’ll often get worse if you keep going.)

  5. Hi, I’m a sex educator. NEVER use numbing gel anally. It’s extremely dangerous because it prevents you from being able to feel pain that would be a warning signal from your body if you were about to injure yourself via anal penetration.

Just use regular lube. Water-based and silicone-based lubes are both compatible with condoms.
