Been single so long, I’m starting to forget why I wanted to be in a relationship in the first place.

  1. Keep forgetting. All that media stuff portraying love and relationships is pure crap meant to brainwash people to turn them into slaves of capitalism.

  2. Last of Us episode 3 was probably the closest I’ve seen love portrayed on TV to how I actually feel being in love. It is about two dudes if that’s a problem for you, but it’s also just super insanely accurate as to how falling in love felt for me.

  3. Movies? The 1950 Cyrano. TV shows? Mr. Sunshine is pretty good, at least the beginning episodes.

Book wise, there’s the Man Who Laughs. There’s Anthem and Atlas Shrugged.

  4. Not everyone is cut out of the monogamous white picket fence life.

Up in the Air is a fantastic movie that leans into this.

  5. Broke back mountain. It’s a tale about true love and not letting others dictate your life.

  6. Watch Stanley and Iris. It’s a little older but it stars Robert DeNiro and Jane Fonda and will renew your faith in love. If you’re looking for comedy the Parenthood will do the same. Another phenomenal one is Murphy’s Romance.
