Craving for girls attention

I am an average looking guy studying in an college. So i have a craving for attention from girls. Girls do show interest in me and talk with me but when they don’t i don’t know why but i start to have craving for attention from them.
I cant focus in my activities in college.I feel like why i am not getting attention from girls in my class.I really don’t know what to do. Please help
