Had a second date lined up after our first one went well. Never gotten to the second one before so that felt encouraging. Pitched a couple of ideas today as we were firming up, then she responds by saying she needs to cancel because she just found out that her uncle who raised her died this morning.
That’s horrible obviously, but I’m thinking she just needed an out because whatever I pitched must have been lame. Ah well, at least I got the first date and I oughta feel good about that.
