So this seems like a new way to access health services, but I would be hesitant without some sort of credible endorsement. What’s your personal experience?

  1. I have not.

I use Lemonaidhealth to get medication for ED, which is what I assume you are curious about. It’s $20 for a telehealth appointment with a doctor, no insurance required. You’ll need to put in the numbers from a recent blood pressure test, so have that available. The rest is basic medical questions.

The consult takes about 5 minutes, and if they don’t prescribe you something, you pay nothing. They will want you to buy your medication from their overpriced online pharmacy. Don’t do this. Instead, get your prescription filled at your local pharmacy, or Amazon’s online pharmacy. Generic Cialis is what you want, it’s something like $7 for 10 pills.

I imagine Hims is a very similar service, but I don’t know if they give you the option of using an outside pharmacy.

Cialis > Viagra. It works the same, but lasts much longer.

  2. Every report I’ve read says they’re grossly overpriced. With the amount they’re spending on marketing, that (and profit) is where your money goes when doing business with them, less so towards the product itself.
