A bit of a goofy and unserious post, but I still genuinely want advice nevertheless.
About a week ago, my boyfriend showed me a video of him and his friends. Everyone’s backs were to the camera, and I mistook one friend as him, not realizing my boyfriend was the cameraman and wasn’t actually IN the video. I complimented that friend’s ass, said he was super cute, all the usual loving things I say to my boyfriend, et cetera.
He didn’t realize at first, until I audibly realized my mistake when that friend turned towards the camera. Then he jokingly got mad at me. I said sorry a million times and hugged him, he laughed and forgave me, but I still feel like I didn’t do enough to apologize.
Whether or not he was genuinely mad and disguising his anger with a joke, or he legitimately thought my mistake was funny doesn’t matter to me. I feel horrible, and I really want to make it up to him in some way, shape, or form that isn’t just verbal apology.
