Please can you recommend a good £10 or less Secret Santa Xmas gift for a female 40 something to 50 something colleague.

She is German by the way, if that helps much.

  1. Having two German friends (women), I’d maybe find a handmade or cute Christmas ornament or something Christmas related. Christmas is such a big deal I would definitely try that.

  2. I had this situation, years ago, and bought smellies, only to hear my gifts condemned as boring. 🤷‍♀️

See the other suggestions, and hopefully you’ll get it right.

If you’re feeling up to the espionage, try and find out more about her hobbies, likes, favourite food, etc.

  3. Lonely Planet has an Epic Hikes of the World book – if you google the paperback version you may be able to find one that’s around £10.

They have a Runs of the Wolrd but don’t think you can get it for around a tenner.

  4. I got bought a frankincense and myrrh scented candle and pack of chocolate gold coins one year and actually loved it, if that helps!

  5. I run too and last year for secret Santa I got given a hat with an led light built in, it’s amazing in the dark winter mornings keeping my head warm and lighting up the trails I run, a quick google shows some at 9.99!
