Date Deposit

I (34f) recently met a guy online (37m) who seemed to have potential.

We met up once and hit it off. We’ve spoke about meeting again, and have planned two dates.

The first second date was a late night hang out following a major football game but he fell asleep during the 4th quarter. Clearly apologized the next day. Fair enough. Second was a dinner date. For this I had to get a sitter. His last work meeting ran late, super late apparently and 2 hours after he was spsd to have left work, he finally messaged apologizing, explaining how mad he was that the meeting ran over. Kicker. Otw home from the meeting he stopped by the bar with the guys. (Granted.. work, home, and the bar are all close in proximity meanwhile my place is in the opposite direction).

I’m considering asking for some sort of deposit next date we plan? If he comes on the date, he gets it back. If not I keep it for my time, the cost of a sitter, and to cover the makeup I used to pointlessly get ready!

Do I give him another chance for plans? He’s already talking about it. OR do I forget him and move on? How many no shows are acceptable?
