I’ve been seeing this guy for about two months. He has a single friend looking for a nice girl, I have a single friend looking for a nice dude. I asked my friend. He asked his. They both mutually agreed they wanted to meet and asked if we could have a double date so hereeeeee we are!!
They haven’t talked before this. The double date will be the first time they’re meeting. My date hasn’t met my friend yet, but I’ve met my date’s friend a few times now. So needless to say, I am trying my absolutely hardest to make it fun and warm and welcoming for everyone so we can all have fun
My question is how can I make this fun and casual and easy?? I’ve never been on a double date before. Do we engage in one main convo together at all times, do we have separate convos? I’m just so nervous wanting my friend to enjoy herself and have fun and I just want to be the liaison for them LOL. To what extent do I have to be the liaison?! Like do I kinda hope they hit it off or do I aid in the convo. It’s even trickier cause I still get bashful and shy butterflies around my side so not only am I nervous about my friend having fun but I wanna calm my anxiety too.
For reference, we’re going to a low key bar so we can chat and chill
