I have been on dating apps for 1 year now (M30). I faced several times the situation where I get a match, I ask a basic question (such as “which language are you more comfortable with?”), and many times, I never get any reply (even after weeks) but the woman does not remove me from her matches? I don’t understand why they are doing so: if they did not want to discuss with me, why liking my profile? why not removing me? why not even explaining they are not interested or they did a mistake? I could understand that a mistake can happen from time to time, but not that often.
Similarly, I subscribed on eharmony where there is no swipe and we can directly text other users, but I rarely get any reply. FYI, before I subscribed, I received several messages from women I wasn’t into, and so I politely declined (I didn’t ignore them).
Do you have similar experiences? Do you have insights/explanations for me? I am really curious to know. Thank you!

Ignoring takes no effort, doing the stuff you said does. You’re probably just asking boring questions.
It’s even worse on bumble where women have to send the first message when you match with them. They have 24 hours or 48 if you choose to extend that time. Had some matches, never got a single msg. So I gathered most woman have multiple matches and I never made the cut I guess
Because dating apps suck :/
