I am trying to rationalize situations when my coworkers get fake praise but don’t understand. For example, complimenting their cooking skills and suggesting you should start a business.
I know it is a fake compliment, but why are they getting these? Is it good attention? What is hidden meaning behind them and how can I rationalize it so my negative emotions don’t affect me?
