I’ve been working in a job for more than 5 years. I wanted to because an associate manager in my workplace and I had applied several times for the job. My boss at the time gave the position to other staff however I got lucky with a temporary position as an associate manager for 9 months. Now my boss suddenly left for a career change. I also didn’t get the associate manager role permanently after another staff member was chosen instead.
Should I start looking for another job or wait and bide my time if I get another chance as I’m one of the most senior staff in the workplace?
