Some people say comedy is tragedy plus time. What event or person in your country’s past has become something like that?

Take Gaius Julius Caesar for instance. You can find pencil holders with the pencils going in the back of a bust of the dictator pro perpetuo, much like how in 2022 the Senate in Rome still finds itself having unexpected penetrations. Or King Henry VI of England being so over the top that even though his behaviour would be despised today, he is now known for a song on the children’s show Horrible Histories Divorced Beheaded and Died. Even Tsar Peter III in 1762 who was overthrown by his wife Catherine even though coups are usually bad things.

Edit: Henry VI? As if. That should read VIII. No way in hell was the sixth Henry that much of a narcissist and is rarely thought of as being a villain.
