So, I’m with friends and I say “I’d like to go to X sometime” – where X is some category of accessible local destination, not like another country or something difficult.
There’s a brief mention and maybe a shared experience or a “me too” then the conversation moves on.
Is that actually a rejection because the group could have stayed with the topic and started talking about making arrangements but chose not to?
