Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Elvis, etc are household names. What American musicians from groups/bands are similarly well-known in their own right? Someone like Justin Timberlake was originally from *NSYNC, but I think he’s most known as a solo artist “who used to be in *NSYNC.”
Who would be like a Freddie Mercury who was (._.) part of a larger group but still a household name?
Maybe Adam Levine or Brendon Urie might be the most well-known? Probably Jared Leto, but more so from acting? Gene Simmons? I suppose Kurt Cobain when he was still with us? What about non-vocalists like Slash?
