I’m talking about real maple, not flavored syrup. I live in the US, and you can get it at any grocery store. Maple syrup is probably my go-to sweetener for sweet and savory food. Maybe that’s a little strange, but I’ve met lots of people who use it frequently for all kinds of food. I was wondering how common is maple syrup in other parts of the world, and what is it called (if different)?
