Despite being the richest nation and having the capacity to build New York like cities everywhere, why have lot of states decided to keep the old rural towns and nature? Japan and China have a lot of nature, but still a lot of skycrapers, lights and buildings everywhere. I’m not saying that they should destroy more nature and build over it, but even a lot of rich cities look wild west themed. California is filthy rich, but doesn’t look like Tokyo. New York is the only state and city to look heavily modern and urbanized.
