It might be just me assuming but I had batteries (those circle ones for watches) in my suitcase and I explicitly asked at the check in counter if it is okay to put them in, they said yes. Now I can’t find them. So either I forgot I put them in or someone took them out. My bag has a TSA approved lock so if they opened it I wouldn’t know but there’s not even a piece of paper left.
