So im currently an undergrad and im wanting to go to med school. My grandmother has been imensly helpful and has essentially covered half of my fees for college so far, with the other half coming from a grant, an academic scholarship, and student loans. She knows my plans for med school and has seemed supportive about it but we have never had this talk, how it will be financed and if she will keep helping me out for med school like she is for my undergrad.
Im honestly embarassed and i feel a bit entitled asking for the help or bringing it up. If i dont have support i am fully ok persuing other career options, at least for the time being if i need to pay for med school on my own. I guess i just want to know what the future holds.
