Is it wrong that I laugh at my own jokes? How do I stop?

I say the joke in the first place because I find it funny. I think it is better for me to say what I am laughing about. But I knew people that constantly bring up that I laugh at my own jokes.
I remember 1 kid that was so funny. But I honestly don’t think he ever laughed at his jokes.
