It’s good to be back in Paris for Christmas… even if the weather is not as nice as in Palermo here! Hopefully it won’t rain too much over the next few days.
Last night we went up to Montmartre.The decorations are really pretty up there,there is also a small Christmas market and plenty of people in the bars and restaurants.

I could bike a bit again for the first time since my accident, and [so much water!!](https://i.imgur.com/B06VgMk.jpg) Seems like the river has flooded my favorite bike route. Well, it’s been raining since October, so no wonder, I guess.
This time of the year it is always the same…. do I meet my husband’s boring friends or not? Many of his friends come home for Christmas, and we (currently at least) live close to his hometown, so it is like “I am meeting X and Y, do you want to join” every other evening. Now, there are some Xs and Ys that I like, but some of them are sooooo boring. Like, I don’t want to listen to people verbally wank about how much they work and how they had to buy a Tesla to get to work faster and how they work so much guys, it’s insane. Did I say work? Like, don’t you do anything else? Nothing?
*sigh* They’re not bad people, but they may be a different species as far as I am concerned.
