My family and partner went out for Christmas. At the end of the night my husband and I were walking home, my sister (F21)following with her male friend (M21) who was throwing his hands around her.
When I noticed this I said, she has a boyfriend but he proceeded to continue and my sister said oh we are just friends. I asked him to stop hanging off her but he chose to ignore me.
I told my sister if her partner was allowing another girl to hang off him I would think he was being disrespectful which is exactly how I would view her behaviour. She told me I was overreacting and the man in question told me to shut up. She then began crying and told me she was able to deal with the situation herself. Am I wrong for intervening? Help!
