I recently met up with a previous coworker of mine who i used to get along with really well. We got reaquainted and she said we should hang out some time and to call her. So I’ve called her a few times but she didn’t answer and then I texted her a couple times and she got back to me a few days later on the second text reiterating that she’d love to hang out sometime. So we made plans to get together but by the time that day came around she ghosted me.

Now she’s told me in the past that she struggles with depression and anxiety and often ignores texts because of that.

So my question is should I keep trying to text her even though i’m not getting replies? Can depression cause someone to ghost someone they actually want to be friends with or should i assume she changed her mind? I genuinely would like to be friends with her but idk where to go from here.
