Context: I always hear a lot of criticism from americans (rightfully so) to China’s social credit score, but as an outisider, your credit score system doesn’t look that different. At the end of the day, it’s a number that can determine where you live, who you work for, your transportation and studies.
What do you think about this? Do you think the credit score is a net positive on society?

edit: guys I’m asking exactly because I don’t know this, it was a random observation. No need to be angry. Thanks to the people who are informing me!
