I’ve been dating this girl long distance for about 1.5 months.
We usually send each other video messages since we are both pretty busy throughout the day, but we always respond when we can.
Yesterday was a bit different and had me questioning things a bit because I sent her a nice chunk of video messages throughout my day and she responded in the evening via text saying thanks for the messages. It was a bit unusual that she didn’t respond, anyways I text her later and told her I hope her day is well. She said it’s been off and on. So I got the signal that something was wrong. I called her and she told me she’s feeling off today and I tried to support her and help her feel better.
Later that night she texted me saying this “Sorry for not being as responsive today. When things like this come up, I tend to isolate myself”
This statement alone worries me. I would hope to know that there was something wrong, for the sake of her well being and also to not misinterpret her distancing. If she needs space I am okay with that, but it’s a bit off putting to think she will distance me without me expecting it.
Now I question, will this be a lifestyle of our relationship? Will it affect us as a whole? Will it be often?
Not sure what to do here given we are so early on. Any advice is appreciated.
