What is your go to gentlemen alcohol drink?

1. Single malt whisky

2. Bourbon on the rocks or an old fashioned

   Also, during the summer heat a bourbon and ginger ale is very refreshing

3. Depends on the situation — either a microbrew ipa or a vodka tonic.

5. Depends. On hot summer days I’ll go for gin and tonic. For evenings I’ll go for scotch on the rocks or a Manhattan when I’m feeling fancy.

7. A really cheap brand of mead called Harvest Gold. It’s not very good, but it’s inexpensive and easy to get drunk on.

9. Whiskey or bourbon straight (2 fingers), if it’s good. On the rocks, if it’s okay.

10. Don’t know if it’s a “gentlemen drink” (don’t know what you mean by that) but my go-to is rum and coke. Specifically Bumbu rum, the best rum I’ve ever found.

11. Espresso Martini. Love me some coffee!

12. KWV 10 year brandy. My parents started getting into brandy when I turned 18 and my dad always has a bottle lying around. When I visit them there’s always at least one night where we have a glass together

13. Mood dependent. Old Fashioned, Negroni, or a Sazerac are typical go-tos. Can’t go wrong with a Black Manhattan, either.

14. Bourbon and lemonade on a hot evening or bourbon and Diet Coke.

20. Pre dinner drink: old fashion
    Dinner drink: gin and tonic or mule
    Dessert or night cap drink: Scotch, neat, preferably single malt, my go to is Macallan 12.
    If I’m actually having a Dessert I will also choose a red wine or a dessert wine.

    I’d also like to add that a gentleman drinks to meet the occasion. On the beach in Hawaii? Mai tai, Mexico? Margarita, Italy? Aperol spritz. A martini doesn’t go down right when you’re wearing floral swim trunks under a cabana on the beach.

38. If I want something refreshing on a hot summer day I like a cold glass of Sancerre or Provence Rose. Other times I love a good chateauneuf du pape

    Don’t miss Alcohol though, saving so much money and feel much healthier.

46. Moscow Mule is my mixed drink of choice, right now. I don’t know where it lands on the manly scale but i don’t give a fuck, frankly.

47. When I did drink, it was a 4 oz glass of Pinot noir red wine. I never did it to get drunk, just a little nip to relax and enjoy the heart health benefits.

    I stopped drinking when I went with my wife to a party. Nobody knew we drank and it was our first time in front of others. Before hand, I openly expressed how I didn’t want either of us to get drunk. It was my one request.

    I had my 4 oz of red and stopped. My wife on the other hand got more drunk than anyone else at the party. She was groping her sister, couldn’t keep her hands off some random girl, pissed herself, and went on and on and my penis size. I was so mad, I drove us both home and threw out all the alcohol in the house.

    Since then, I haven’t had a drop.
