I’ve a few American friends who moved to Ireland and they were really surprised when I gave them a plate of food at Christmas that didn’t contain corned beef. They said they were brought up thinking corned beef was an Irish thing but my friends and I have never even tried the stuff! I think it’s sold in some shops here and there but Ironically, the only time I’ve seen it labelled is in American weeks at Aldi or Lidl funnily enough!
What other food would be considered Irish in the US?
